This page lists what AdvTour stores in your browser and what you can switch off.

What we set

Strictly necessary — always on

These make the site work. They carry no advertising or tracking function, and the site cannot be provided without them, so they are not subject to consent.

No analytics script is loaded until you accept. If you decline, nothing is requested from Google at all — we do not load it and switch it off afterwards.

Google Analytics receives an anonymous identifier, your device type, an approximate location from your IP address, and which pages and actions you view. If you are signed in it also receives your internal account identifier and your role — never your username or e-mail address. Data is retained by Google for [CONFIRM: 14 months].

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no social-media trackers, no cross-site profiling, and no data selling.

Changing your mind

Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. It takes one click, and declining is exactly as easy as accepting.

When you withdraw consent we switch Google Analytics off immediately and delete the _ga cookies it set — you do not have to wait for a page reload or clear them yourself.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and reset your language.

Other things that load from elsewhere

Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, EOX and the AWS public terrain dataset, and embedded videos come from YouTube. These do not set cookies through us — we use YouTube's no-cookie player — but, like any image or video on the web, those services see your IP address when your browser fetches from them.
